Product Description

Voices in my head. It's driving me mad. I'll have their tongues. That'll shut them up. Danny's father has been found guilty of a multiple murder - and Danny is terrified that he will turn out like his father. But was his father truly bad or a victim of something even darker? Danny gradually discovers that his family is being haunted by an evil little spirit: an incubus. And now it's haunting Danny. It broke his father, so what chance does Danny have? He has to be very strong and very careful.

4.0 out of 5 stars Teenage hero on the run from the past, 26 Mar 2006
This review is from: Incubus (Paperback)
Danny, the teenage hero of "Incubus" is on the run from the past. His family have relocated to Hope Springs, a wholesome alternative community where nobody knows that Danny's father has committed multiple murders despite unclear motives. Danny fears to inherit the insanity that drove his father over the edge and tries desperately to have a normal life.
His fears about his state of mind aren't the only worries - a dislikeable man is making moves on his mother and a definitely likeable girl is making moves on him.
The plot develops around these relationships seen through Danny's eyes; the resolution is not as straight forward as one might initially suspect and the characters are well developed, making this an interesting read.
