This investigation re-evaluates the Incredible String Band from their early days in Edinburgh. The solo recordings (after the demise of the Incredible String Band) of both Robin Williamson and Mike Heron are included, track by track. Robin Williamson delved into Celtic history, publishing books and writing soundtracks for films and plays. Mike Heron moved away from folk music to rock'n'roll, only to return to acoustic music later in his career. The duo have played in performance in the 1990s, and although they continue to record separately, may make a "reunion" record in the new millennium.
