I spent considerable time researching the variety of products designed to protect my iPad 2 3G, and settled on this. I haven't been disappointed.

Some other products don't so easily facilitate mounting the iPad on Apple's own dock - this does.
Given that I have the 3G version, I really appreciate the GPS/3G antennae being fully open for clear reception. This does not detract from the protection being afforded by the case.
I also fully appreciate the added bonus of the included acetate protection for the front of the iPad (complete with soft cloth, that effectively wipes-away paw prints). Patience in offering-up the acetate to the iPad is well rewarded.
Be aware that the front-screen protector only comes in the full-retail package (so don't penny-pinch on your purchase - it's worth the extra money).

Altogether, in combination with the Apple Smart Cover, the iPad 2 3G is an awesome tablet computer

Incipio's Feather for iPad 2 case was released no long ago but the DOK Smart for iPad 2 came better by making fully compatible with the Smart Cover. Now the Incipio Smart Feather iPad 2 finally arrived with not just 100% compatible with Smart Cover it also protects the Smart Cover's aluminium hinge. Hence it's now the choice between Incipio Smart Feather iPad 2 or the DOK Smart iPad 2 if you want a case that's fully designed and compatible with the Apple Smart Cover. The difference between these 2 cases is that Incipio Smart Feather iPad 2 gives extra protection for the Smart Cover itself but the DOK Smart iPad 2 allows you to remove the Smart Cover conveniently without taking off the case. It's a hard choice! By the way, all of these cases allow the Camera Connection Kit to plug in easily without removing the case which is a big bonus design feature.

This is exactly what I hoped it would be - a really fantastic cover for my iPad mini, offerin protection while looking smart. Has aged nicely and looks really classy and authentic. Key thing though is the weight - the iPad mini is great for travelling because it's so light, however some of the cases out there really add to the weight; not this one! Great transaction too - fantastic value for money and really fast delivery...

It is a good cover and does the job. It does unfortunately leave finger marks where you hold it. That said it goes really nice with the magnetic grip cover sold by Apple.
