Okay, if you've seen this film, you'd have already realized by now how utterly astonishing it is. Ergo, even after seeing it at the cinema twice, the script still reads as fast and as exciting as if you were reading it for the first time. It's proof that the world's best director (in my opinion) is at the top of his game, creating truly original and inspiring work that respects its audience.
It is, of course, a great read, allowing you to look at how Christopher Nolan pieced together the puzzle that is Inception. It's a shooting script but is more or less the same as the final film, though it does have some minor details that a true fan of the film should take interest in. Plus, the small interview between Nolan and his brother, Jonathan, is an interesting look into the mind of the director and his thought processes making the film. And the other small elements are nicely done. (Examples of storyboards show the development process a little further, and a faux instruction manuel for the dream device only helps you appreicate the hard work put into the film further.)
Otherwise, it could be improved by more! A bit like 'The Art of The Dark Knight' book that really gave you a depth to the process as a whole. Maybe one day...
Until then, thank you, Chris... I cannot wait to see what you do next!
