A great little book! Informative with really useful and relevant information. Some amazing photographs, useful maps and a really interesting section on the Incas. I would highly recommend this book to anyone going to Machu Picchu and particulary so if doing the Inca Trail.

In fact, the best book I've seen on this topic... wish I had read a copy before spending 6 weeks visiting Machu Picchu, Choquequirao, Vitcos and Espiritu Pampa last year!

Great travel companion book! We plan to take it with us when we go to Peru. We'll be hiking/backpacking there at Cusco area, so every ounce counts. Great advice on what you need to know when you know nothing (like me) on your first trip to Peru. This book literally covers it all, ALL your travel needs. THE BEST, highly recommend!
