I came across this band through an amazing song called 'These Lights' and though it remains one of my favourite songs of all time, it sticks out like a sore thumb in their repertoire. They've got a country swagger and are really atmospheric and some of the songs have grown on me, nonetheless, when you've heard 'These Lights' nothing else they've done could hold a candle to it, if you'll allow the pun. This album is the second of theirs that I've bought and it has grown on me, because I've given them a lot of time to do so. They've got three singers, an Adam Duritz type lead, a sweet voiced female bassist and a punk/screamo guitarist. They're an insanely endearing bunch of people and they're music drips melody without ever really hitting an highs. I like it, but it's an acquired taste. Proceed with caution and don't spend to much.
