Items clip together well onto the base and seem strong enough. Suitable for 2 to 3 years older than that and its probably going to be a bit boring. There are nine stencils and a couple of push throughs just make sure you keep everything clean after use and it should last well. Base is around 200 x 240 x 150mm high so its quite small and compact

My daughter (who is almost 3) absolutely loves this - I don't think it matters too much if they are not crazy about ITNG. It's got lots of moulds and things to squish the Playdoh into, and is quite inventive - for example, Upsy Daisy's mould is inside her bed!

I have however only given it 4 stars, because it's quite difficult to get the Playdo out of some of the moulds - and the Tombliboo house, which squishes the dough through lots of little holes - requires more physical strength than even I have, let alone a toddler! I would probably aim this toy at 2 1/2 - 3 1/2 year olds. Any older than that and probably won't quite have the same appeal.

My little boy loves this set and it gave him hours of fun over xmas. Plenty to occupy young inquisitive minds. Needed his big sister to help with some of the squeezing activities but my only complaint, as with all playdoh, is the mess to clear up after! It's hard to stop the colours mixing together too.
