I bought this for my daughter who is 23 months old, as she loves watching 'In the Night Garden' to get ready for bed.
I agree with some of the other comments that the book isn't really a book, more like a pamphlet, and that the lantern fades quickly. But, to be honest, I wouldn't really want the lantern to stay on longer.
The teddy is lovely and she now insists on cuddling him to get to sleep. We make a bit of a routine of getting her in her pyjamas at night time, and then getting iggle piggle ready for bed! I'm sure in months to come she will get the dexterity to get him ready for herself, but for the moment it's a useful aid to help get her off to sleep! (and me a bit of sanity!)

I got this for grandaughters 2nd birthday , and she truely loves him, he comes with a little light that turns itself off which is useful for children who need a light to help them get to sleep. He also has his pyjamas which meens she can get him ready for bed , when mummy and daddy get her ready for bed. I wouldn't say he was very educational but do all toys have to be , this a toy that will a friend to her and be a good cuddle at night. Really I should ask her to comment but as she carries him with her I think we can take it as read she likes him.

We bought this for our toddler who loves Igggle Piggle. He also loves books and toys with buttons. We therefore thought this would be perfect as it had all these elements. However, the 'storybook' is a rubbish little pamphlet (not durable even for the most careful toddler. The lantern is a bit of plastic that is a waste of time as it fades out after about 1 minute - not long enough to read the 'storybook'. On the plus side, Iggle Piggles pj's are great as is he, but I would recommend just buying an Iggle Piggle on his own.
