My son loves in the night garden and loves this light. It has a really nice glow in his bedroom that sets the mood for sleep time. It doesn't get hot and so I feel it is safe to have in my son's room. However, my 18 month son has already taken it apart several times with much ease and now it is too bent to put back together properly. It needs much further testing with inquisitive toddlers who will of course play with and dismantle it.

Was a bit dissapointed with this - lasted a month before falling off a low table and then failing to bits.
There are better on the market - don't get drawn in to this one just for the Nightgarden theme. It's a lampholder with an energy saving bulb inside and a switch, surrounded by some plastic. Not worth the money.
