Format:Audio CD
I am a huge fan of this mans music and could be regarded as a wee bit biased, almost being predisposed to like a new album before I've heard it. The downside being that expectations are already so high you don't get that wow factor. Except this album has it and then some. The last track alone is so breathetaking that had the rest been filler, I still wouldn't begrudge the purchase. Its not of course, the other tracks are wry, witty and toe tappingly good, your feet will move of their own accord, taking you to previously unvisited parts of your listening room,
Bias or no, the performances on this album are so powerful and full of life that I defy even a non-blues enthusiast not to be swayed by them.

If you like gospel-tinged blues then you will definitely be sasified with this release. I was listening to a digital cable channel at work when the title song came on. My manager, who is also into the blues, said "check and see who this is" which I did with my handy remote. You can do that, for people who do not know. It really is very nice. Anyway, after looking it up and buying it on Amazon, they have everything, I was amazed to find that he was an award winning blues guitarist with many releases. I plan to buy more as his music is totally awesome, man. It still amazes me that neither myself or my manager knew about this artist. He is apparently well known and for good reason. If you buy this you will not be disappointed.
