This is a re-issue of Elvis classic single In the Ghetto featuring the original B-Side, Any Day Now, and an alternate take of In the Ghetto. As has been pointed out, it does NOT include the remixed duet with Lisa Marie but that is no reason to dis this release, just because Amazon labeled it wrong.

Originally released in 1969 in the wake of his successful TV comeback special, it became Elvis first US top ten single since 1965's Crying in the Chapel. It peaked at number 3 on the Billboard singles chart but went all the way to number 1 on the rival Cashbox singles chart as well as in the UK and several other countries. It is a moving performance and this is a nice collector's item for avid Elvis fans.

The only reason i bought 3 copies of this being a huge elvis fan ,was in the heading it states elvis and lisa marie ,MEANING the version she redid in the studio mix,which is an excellent video also,WRONG ,just the same old ,same old ,NO LISA ........nice song but i have 16 versions allready literally,............

I purchased this CD thinking it was a duet with Elvis and Lisa Marie...but it is clearly not. This song is the old version of In the Ghetto by Elvis alone. Very misleading...
