I wish I had known about this book earlier. It was recommended to me by a friend prior to a holiday in Syria and Turkey and was enormously valuable. While dwelling on St. Paul's journeys and their effect on the world, it is not a theological treatise, but the story of Morton's travels in Asia Minor and adjacent areas in, as he says, the steps of St. Paul.
It is now 76 years old, and it is very instructive to compare the descriptions of the places he visited to what is found now. I would recommend it to anyone planning to visit Syria, Anatolya, southern Turkey, and the adjacent areas of the Aegean.
