Ignore the rubbish on Kerrang TV at the mo' about these guys riding on fellow Finns, HIM's success. This single proves The Rasmus have a unique sound of their own, which will stay bouncing around your head long after the musics finished. "In the Shadows" has an infectious beat with well delivered vocals, gothy but not overpoweringly. The structure of the song is perfect, excellent bridge leading to the final chorus and outro and its not too short, but leaves you wanting to hear it again straight away. Maybe a bit radio friendly but that's forgivable, a catchy metal/goth/pop song, catch the excellent video if you can.

This is the first single by The Rasmus to be released in the UK and what a way to make people sit up and take notice! This song is stupidly catchy, as is the album it is from, Dead Letters. I would highly recomend both!

Wow... this is such a cool song and such a great video everytime you switch on the TV! Gotta love the gothic image the band go for and how it blends with the haunting melody of this track.

Gotta say the music scene seems to be buzzing with European Rock talent... First HIM, then this AWESOME 'The Rasmus' song and now Kane! Can't wait for the next track to be released! AWESOME!!!
