Following the much acclaimed debut record Art Work, WORK OF ART release In Progress. While main songwriter and guitarist Robert Sall contributed heavily to the success of the W.E.T. project with Jeff Scott Soto and Erik Martensson and singer Lars Safsund kept busy singing on other projects, WORK OF ART have been working hard to create the foundations of another amazing piece of music. And in reality In Progress gives melodic rock fans exactly what they’re looking for, with songs that stick in the ears from the first second and amazing musical licks. The new album shows three musicians who have matured a lot their abilities and gel together in a very natural way, presenting a sound which--still encompassing different influences--is now defined and recognizable as their own.

This album is brilliant. One of the best melodic rock albums I have ever heard and is in my opinion better than the first album, which is high praise indeed. If melodic rock is your thing trust me buy this. I havent stopped playing it since getting it. First track the rain and the great fall are my favourites at the moment, but every track is brilliiant

This is a true gem! All 12 tracks are of the highest quality and this band deserve to make it REALLY big. Stand-out tracks for me have to be 'The Great Fall' and 'Emelie' - stunningly catchy from the very first listen. This is top-notch, classic AOR !!

I am in Heaven...
As a Bass player (of sorts!) this Album is nectar. One has only to imagine being on stage, playing these driving rhythms as part of what is a beautiful, melodic delight. Read more
