My 13 month old daughter loves these little books and takes them everywhere with her, she can hold them comfortably and they have little stories you can work with and use there imagination - the size and the fact that they are hardback is good - they are looking a little tatty though after 2 months of being toted everywhere!.

My 14 month old son has recently become obsessed with In the Night Garden so this set of little books was ideal for taking with us on holiday. Nice small size so they didn't take up too much space and just right for his little hands to hold.

I would say that the box these small board books come in is a little flimsy as within a week of purchasing my son had managed to bite a rather large hole in it! He is teething though so is gnawing on anything he can get his hands on!

So, the stories are pretty short but are actually just right for my son at the moment. He enjoys turning the pages so you just about get time to read each page before he turns it over : ) They feature all of the characters from the programme (even the Wottingers!) within six books: Igglepiggle, Upsy Daisy, Tombliboos, Pinky Ponk and Ninky Nonk , Makka Pakka and Pontipines.

Overall, I would say that these books are great value for money. They could be made from sturdier board but for the price you really can't complain too much. If it was up to my son I'm sure he would give them the full five stars but I've knocked one off for the quality of materials.

My daughter is 14 months and has recently become obsessed with the Night Garden, so I bought her this little library to look at with her during the program.

She absolutely loves the books. They have lovely pictures are are just right for little hands BUT they are not robust at all. Within two days, and only getting them out three times a day, they are full of bite marks and the paper is peeling off the board. Also, as soon as she opened them the first time it was obvious that the spine is quite weak. The print has also stuck together at the spine and pulls off as you open the pages for the first time too, but it doesnt affect the main parts of the picture so she doesnt notice.

In all, I think they are lovely and my daughter certainly adores them. She runs to get them whenever the program is on now so we can talk about it together.
