This book is far more interesting and impressive than the outline on the jacket indicates. Much of the text consists of John Pilger's own words, I was happy to find, rather than a long account by Anthony Hayward. And Pilger's words will amaze and perplex you. You will feel with him his frustration at the difficulties put in his way as he works on exposing the falsehoods of life today in various arenas; the motives behind the acts and statements of governments; the truth of situations, where before we have been exposed only to the propaganda of our own leaders. John Pilger is a good man, a great writer/film-maker and a superb researcher. Read this book and I guarantee it will change your way of thinking on many, many subjects.
