I couldn't put this book down, so much information wriiten in a very easy style. The first three chapters give a very detailed account of Jesus and the formation of Christianity which you'll either love or hate, but after that each chapter builds to an amazing finale in the Great Pyramid. David Elkington rediscovers a lost spiritual technology known to the builders of sacred sites like Newgrange, the Gothic cathedrals and the Pyramids. Sacred sounds played or sung within these places actually alters the brainwave patterns so that you enter a 'spiritual' state of consciousness. Sound and resonance is everything, it connects man with his God. I've been to a cathedral since and tried it, and it works. I was amazed. This book draws so many threads together- myth, language, landscape, modern scientific experiments- all carefully researched. I shall be dipping into this book again and again. One of my friends is reading it for the third time!

A Very Important Book 23 Mar 2005
Format:Hardcover
This book uncovers startling similarities between nearly all religions, past & present, and shows what their common goal was, to get man closer to his God through the power of voice/sound and the resulting resonance at certain religous locations.

It makes astounding statements then backs them up with well researched fact and results, some stemming from the experiments of the author and his colleagues.

The conclusions that this book makes are amazing and it's a shame that not more people with access to this particular field and the areas/places that it mentions have not also researched it and joined in the debate, it seems that important a subject!
