A seqel to the same team's 'Popsville' which uses a simple but ingenious format to illustrate the way rain forests are being plundered. It optimistically concludes with the re-planting of trees which I doubt whether many of the loggers undertake.

This is a must buy! Taught children about the threat of man on depleating rain forests. Good clear message for all and lovely illustrations.

A really lovely book, visually such a pleasure to look at. My children are quite young but enjoy looking for the sloth!

This would please the budding eco-warrior. the clever paper engineering shows the destruction of a forest, with a sloth living in one of the trees, until a page is reaches with nothing, the sloth is gone. Then, pull a tab, a field of green shoots and the sloth returns!

The simple drawn style has a lot of detail in its elegant pages.

I couldn't resist this book to share with my Year 4 children when we did a topic about rain forests. They loved looking for the sloth, only problem is the book is little delicate for many pairs of hands (as any pop up book would be) It is a beautiful book though.
