I've read many Anna Jacobs historical novels and loved them all. Now that I've read In Focus I'm asking myself why I took so long to read a modern Anna Jacobs novel. I loved this book. It's down to earth yet full of the twists and turns that make for good reading and still remain gentle to the senses. Most of all it has a beautiful flowing style, writing that gallops ahead and pulls refusing to release us. We're trapped In Focus until well after the last page. It has Anna Jacobs written all over it. I'm becoming quite a fan. Five stars.
