Product Description

When reserved flight attendant Bianca gets one look at billionaire hotel owner James Cavendish, she loses all of her hard-won composure. For a girl who can easily juggle a tray of champagne flutes at 35,000 feet in three inch heels, she finds herself shockingly weak-kneed from their first encounter. The normally unruffled Bianca can't seem to look away from his electrifying turquoise gaze. They hold a challenge, and a promise, that she finds impossible to resist, and she is a girl who is used to saying no and meaning it.

Bianca is accustomed to dealing with supermodels and movie stars in her job as a first class flight attendant, but James Cavendish puts them all to shame in the looks department. If only it were just his looks that she found so irresistible about the intimidating man, Bianca could have ignored his attentions. But what tempts her like never before is the dominant pull he seems to have over her from the moment they meet, and the promise of pleasure, and pain, that she reads in his eyes.

This book is intended for ages 18 and up.

3.0 out of 5 stars Would rather read the story in just one book 2 Dec 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have not read 50 Shades of Bared to you, so I can't compare this book to them but reading some of the reviews, apparently it is very similar.

I read this as it was recommended a lot on the discussion board I read. I didn't mind paying just under £2 to read it and I like the authors style of writing. I can't say James did it for me...I'm not sure he is a proper Dom, he seemed a bit too soppy to be a controlling Dom.

I felt what happened near the end was a bit rushed. What I am annoyed about is the second book is nearly £5. I didn't like this book enough to pay that for the second installment. Goodness knows how much the third installment will be when it is released, but I'm sure this whole story could have been told in one book yet it now seems the norm (I blame 50 shades) to tell a story over a trilogy of books. I feel like these authors are taking the 'p' just a little bit. Especially with the pricing.

I would recommend this book, I liked it, I just didn't love it. I will keep an eye on the pricing of the second and third book and will read them if they are priced under £2.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not a credible Dominant and Virgin imo. 24 Nov 2012
By Amber
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I bought this book because it is a genre I enjoy and it got loads of really good ratings and reviews on amazon.com.

So I was really looking forward to reading it. Unfortunately I did not resonate with the Dominant Billionaire James or the Virginal Bianca at all and found the writing style clumsy and unbelievable.

I'm finding it hard to finish this book. I mean I'm at 70% but I've started having to force myself to keep on reading from about 33% into the book.

James Cavendish reads more like a female than a male, the way he talks about and expresses his feelings ALL THE TIME. Not really how 'normal' men behave, let alone a Dominant male.

I just don't find James Cavendish a credible Dominant. He might be an attractive Billionaire and like BDSM-play, but he sometimes just don't seem in control enough of his emotions for a Dom. He sometimes even seem desperate and needy.
Then there is Bianca whom did not make a credible/believable Virgin imo. She just did not seem vulnerable or innocent enough for even a 23 year old Virgin.

Bianca and her best friend Stephen are both flight attendants. They have been friends since they were 14 year old runaways kids. They have been inseparable since then. Taking care of and protecting one another. I adore Stephan and just barely like Bianca.

The story is a good but definitely not original idea and the characters was just not well enough developed.

At this stage I'm finding it hard not to smirk and roll my eyes at the characters. I'm going to try to finish reading this book. But really, there are just too many good books out there waiting to be read. I'm not sure this book is worth wasting more time on.

I will most definitely NOT be reading the last two books in this Trilogy!

4.0 out of 5 stars wow 6 July 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I just couldn`t put it away. It had the same effect on me like the books about fifty shades of Grey. So, if you liked fifty shades I would recommend this book. If you haven`t read Fifty shades I would recommend them too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Up in the Air book 1 2 Mar 2013
By Sarah (Feeling Fictional) TOP 100 REVIEWER VINE VOICE
Format:Kindle Edition
Bianca loves her job as a flight attendant, she gets to work with her best friend Stephan and she enjoys the travelling but most of all she loves the financial security it gives her. After her troubled childhood growing up with an abusive father she is determined to be independent as an adult and the last thing she is looking for is a relationship. That changes when she meets billionaire James Cavendish, she finds herself impossibly drawn to him and unable to walk away from the pleasure he promises her.

OK so I'm going to admit it, I think I've become a little bit addicted to reading about hot billionaire heroes and naive and innocent heroines so I couldn't resist picking up In Flight. This is being recommended to fans of Fifty Shades and Bared to You and I can see why even though I don't think In Flight is quite as good as either of those and I didn't find James as attractive as Christian or Gideon. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed overall and I didn't love it as much as I hoped I would. The story showed a lot of promise though, particularly towards the end, so I am planning on reading the second book to see what happens next.

In a lot of ways I quite liked Bianca, really liked the fact that she was so independent and that she wanted to stand on her own two feet. She doesn't want to feel like James is buying her attention and I can respect her for that. In other ways I found it difficult to believe that someone who is so innocent when it comes to men and has shown no interest in dating before would be so quick to jump into bed with James. I would have preferred it if he had had to spend more time wooing her because I'd have found that more realistic. I have mixed feelings about James too.
