This is not so much a criticism of the content, which is great.

However, if you are the owner of 'Airline Confidential: Lifting the Lid on the Airline Industry' ISBN 978-0-7509-4380-2 published in 2007, you will be amazed to find it has exactly the same content, word for word, under the new title 'In-flight Confidential' ISBN 978-1-9066-3343-5, published in 2009.

So you can understand my disatisfaction when I had bought the former for £10.99. I didn't know it was possible to just give a book a new title, cover and publisher and get a new ISBN. Certainly, I feel cheated and misrepresented to. If I knew who to bring this to the attention of, to make a worthwhile complaint, I would.

Very funny! 5 Jun 2009
Format:Paperback
A very funny and easy read. A wide range of stories, facts and basic mayhem from the airline industry which is well presented and easy to flip in and out of. Well worth the money.

I had this for a set of flights around Europe with work and was laughing all the way (to my fellow passengers, sorry!). I had several flight attendents reading bits of this and was offered a few extra stories to add.

This is a very good read. Although it is very old skool and it shows with the stories that are enclosed within. Because it is made up of many smaller stories it ideal for your commuters. But would also make an enjoyable holiday read. Additionally it is not full of airline jargon.

Only down side is it still remains very conservative as someone who has spent over 10 years in the aviation industry there are more juicy tails to tell although we would not want to give too much away and spoil the mystery that encases the industry.
