Book Description

People behaving badly, or bizarrely, are not the only things that make airlines and air travel so fascinating. Flying is fun, air travel is glamorous, well sometimes, and it’s the source of more than its fair share of amusing incidents. In-Flight Confidential is a hilarious, ghastly, amazing and sometimes even down right worrying insight into the airline industry and the world of aviation. Packed full of trivia, gossip, stories and anecdotes it is the perfect on-board read.

“This alternative insight into the airline business is a must read.” – Airliner Magazine

“The anxiety and the hours of monotony will melt away and you’ll arrive happier, wiser, and stress free.” – Aviation News

Richard Havers has written over 50 books but before that he had a proper job, starting with the role of a messenger for British United Airways at a time when many airliners still had propellers. He left the airline business as a Vice President for Continental Airlines. He worked and travelled all over the world in aviation and now lives in Scotland.

Christopher Tiffney spent fourteen years working for the world’s largest insurance broking organisation in London, Seattle and New York arranging cover for airlines and aircraft manufacturers in the Lloyd’s of London and international insurance markets …he now has a proper job

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for casual reading 17 Jan. 2013
By Wayne A. Allen - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A good book for casual reading as it is a collection of short stories and excerpts. The kind you can put down for days on end without loosing the trend of the plot. Likely a good candidate for reading while on a flight! The first few chapters are heavily biased toward sex, but then it smoothes out.
