Base is unstable 20 Jan 2009
I have used cordless irons for many years, ever since my last corded one blew up with the cord burning my arm. I much prefer ironing with a cordless one as there is no flex to get tangled with whatever you are ironing. When my last cordless one packed up towards the end of last year it was a real problem finding a replacement - I couldn't find any in the shops, but found this one on Amazon in the end. I am not happy with the design of the base though, it is different to my previous ones and moves about on the ironing board, even though there is a clamp to fix it with it is still not very secure.

Look! No strings! 30 May 2009
This iron is really good! I wasn't sure about buying it at first 'cos I'd never heard of In-Cuisine, but I took a chance and am glad I did. It's easy to use - you just have to remember to put it back on its' stand between ironing 'sweeps' or it cools down. Being used as a cordless means that I can iron with either hand, standing which ever side of the ironing board I choose without getting the cord in a tangle. Brilliant! The only drawback for me is that it's a bit big for storing away. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others who want to iron with no strings attached!

I am very impressed with this product. Ironing is not my favourite chore but the In-Cuisine iron makes it (almost) a pleasure!!! It has a good weight without being awkward to handle, has a good choice of settings and does an excellent job on the articles being ironed. Apart from its performance as an iron I am also impressed with the fact that the iron actually locks on to the base for storage. All in all an excellent product.

In-Cuisine iron
The iron arrived on time and in good condition. It is working perfectly well. I don't understand why there aren't more cordless irons on the market.

Disappointing Design
Connection between iron and base is very sloppy, tends to move around
a lot, obviously not been tested before sold.
Design needs to be improved. Read more
