2.0 out of 5 stars Disapointment. not a good dvd 4 May 2008
Format:DVD
The footage on this dvd looks like somebody has recorded it standing in the crowd at a gig in the basement of a club. The picture quality is good but the content of this dvd is poor. It doesnt show 50 cent to be as good as he is, and the songs don't even play for the full length of time. Also the songs on this dvd are not the most popular ones that he has released. I hadnt even heard of most of them. It doesn't seem like an actual concert

Quality is old and fuzzy but what do you expect! Great concert and good to hear musicians live at their best.

5.0 out of 5 stars Moment In Time 21 Nov 2007
By David P. Reinen - Published on Amazon.com
Format:DVD
This is a recording of Brenda Lee Live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra with arrangements written and conducted by Ray Bunch (of Star Trek Enterprise, Flight 93, The Pretender fame).
Other credits go to Brenda's band - Tom Rogers (piano), Chuck Spence (bass), Charlie Wood (drums), all from Nashville, Tennessee and David P. Reinen (lead guitar) from Oregon.
I was a member of this band and when I discovered this DVD was available, I found myself watching Brenda more than myself.
There are entertainers that are highly paid and receive words of praise throughout their careers - Brenda Lee deserves every penny and every word.
It was an honor and a joy working for her and being part of a great band.
Thanks Brenda...and thanks guys.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Video 31 Mar 2008
By William J. Meyers - Published on Amazon.com
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
Although this is close to 30 years old (1978) , it shows Brenda Lee as the all time great she was in the rockabilly and rock&roll world.
Worth purchasing if you are a Brenda Lee fan like I am.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mickey Gilley & his Urban Cowboy Band, At Their Best. This was filmed at his Branson Theatre, before Mickey's injury. 8 Oct 2010
By Gary Covington - Published on Amazon.com
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
This is simply Mickey Gilley and his Urban Cowboy Band, including Joe Riley, along with the Urbanettes (2 beautiful lady backup singers), at their very best. This was filmed before Mickey fell off a porch, while moving furniture. He was down for about a year, but around April 2010, he made a "comeback", and started performing again. I saw him and his Urban Cowboy Band perform a Live Concert, down in his home Parish of Concordia, Louisiana, in September, 2010. It was great. This is one great Concert DVD. Since the amazon product description does not give the song set, then I will.

The songs include:
1.I'm the one Mama Warned You About
2.True Love Ways (a Buddy Holly song)
3.Talk to Me
4.Put Your Dreams Away
5.That's All that Matters to Me
6.Don't the Girls All Get Prettier At Closing Time
7.You Don't Know Me
8.I Didn't Know Your Memory Loved Jamaica
9.A Headache Tomorrow or a Heartache Tonight
10.Band Instrumental
11.Medley: Room Full of Roses, I Over looked an Orchid, Window Up Above.
12.Great Balls of Fire
13.Back in the Doo-Wah Days
14.Honkey Tonk Wine
15.Here Comes that Hurt Again
16.Cherokee Fiddle
17.Lookin' for Love (from the Urban Cowboy Movie)
18.Stand by Me
19.Diggy Liggy Lo

Plus, you get a bonus interview with Mickey Gilley. If you like Mickey Gilley, you will not be disappointed in this one, for sure. This is a great one, and I highly recommend it. Thanks!!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Commissioned Back in the Day 16 Jan 2008
By copperone65 - Published on Amazon.com
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
This video was fun to watch. It's a very old Commissioned concert. It looks as though a family member taped the concert. It's a good quality, but nothing fancy. The volume is not loud. There are no bells and whistles, just Commissioned singing with the original members of the group. Take a walk down memory lane and be blessed.
