I was initially very disappointed by In Blue, as it seem my favourite band have changed their previously unique image into that of a common pop group. But I wasn't about to give up on them, (before I thought they could do no wrong, and do again now) I decided, after careful consideration, to abandon Talk On Corners until I could at least hum the chorus to every song on In Blue, by the time I could do that I had realised that there were 2 Corrs classics on there, Rebel Heart & Hurt Before, I have to admit to liking any good poppy song so I now love No More Cry and quite like Give Me A Reason and Breathless. The main thing I have always loved about The Corrs is Andrea's beautiful voice, on most of the tracks this wonderful talent is not used very well, on Give It all Up it sounds really silly. If anyone bought Forgiven Not Forgotten but hardly listened to it until Talk on Corners converted them to a truly dedicated Corrs fan then they should buy the album for Hurt Before alone! I now enjoy listening to In Blue on random on my CD player, but if The Corrs next album is a pop album with no 'Hurt Before' equivalent I will probably cry! I will carry on buying Corrs albums in the future, if just for Andrea's voice alone! My Favourite In Blue songs:
HURT BEFORE: A beautiful song, it shows off Andrea's vocal talents to the full, the song is broken up near the end by a violin break from Sharon. This is fast becoming my favourite Corrs song.
REBEL HEART: a typical Corrs instrumental. The violin is the main instrument playing roughly the same tune throughout the song.
NO MORE CRY: A great pop song. I would never have thought The Corrs would have done something like this, after listening to it the first time I could see nothing but cheerfulness in it. It still never fails to cheer me up.

I am a massive Coors fan and brought this album as soon as it was released. Track one - Breathless kick-started the album in the best possible way, but then it became a case of skipping the majority of tracks to find the few good tracks. To be fair to the Coors it is good album, but unfortunatly it cannot match Talk On Corners. The album keeps the same sound as its predecossors but just seems to falter at the last hurdle. Overall the album is a worthy purchase for those who have not listened to Talk On corners, but for those of us who have it is a little disappointing. I would recommend picking up a copy of the superior Talk On Corners, and save yourself a few bob.

Finding an album to match the amazing success and quality of "Talk on Corners" was never going to be easy but you could quite easily say that The Corrs have done it, and done with class. The opening track "Breathless" (their first UK number 1) sets the pace with an upbeat tune that breathes life with amazing lyrics, which have been gratefully provided by John Mutt Lange. The new version of "At Your Side" shows the vocals of Andrea Corr at her best. "No more Cry" is a good quality full of life example of a superb combination of violins, percussion and vocals which only The Corrs seem to do. The slower pace songs such as "Hurt Before","Somebody for Someone", "All in a day" and "One night" bring out the best usage of vocals and music. And to add to this tracks such as "Radio" and "Irresistible" still leave you with one thing in mind MORE! All in all a superb album well worthy of my five star rating.

Well, what can I say... I'm a HUGE fan of the Corrs and love their music, and I must admit I was terribly excited getting their new album In Blue. But, after hearing the brilliantly fantastic 'Forgiven not Forgotten' and 'Talk on Corners', I must say, I was quite depressed and disappointed. The lead single, 'Breathless', 7/10, is OK, but it really annoyed me after listening. Give me A Reason - 9/10 - was better, with a funky pop tune and great vocals from Andrea. Somebody for Someone was 10/10 coz it's one of my FAVOURITE songs on the album with a great urban tune and one that'll soon get you going. Say - 7/10 - and All the Love in the World 8/10 were not as good but still, better than some with funny pop tunes and exciting vocals and instruments. Radio was fabulous - a definite 10/10. I love the song and it was SPECTACULAR!!! Irresistible is another of my favourites - 10/10. Like Radio, I play it again AND again. One Night and All in a Day are both 6/10 and are quite boring. Skip them after a few times. At Your Side 8/10 was OK, but I WAY preferred the unplugged version, but it was quite cool. No More Cry 9/10 was a FANTASTIC song, all emotional and fantasizing when you listen to it. Then comes Rain, a strange song that stands out from the album, with funny lyrics and a weird chorus - 8/10, because it was cool and interesting. Give It All Up is 6/10 - OK but just a pop song you easily forget. I loved Hurt Before and Rebel Heart (the instrumental) as they were both exciting, fun and beautiful songs, especially the instrumental Rebel Heart. A GREAT album, but when you know the Corrs' music as well as I do, you'll probably be a bit disappointed.
