Format: Paperback
The book presents good illustrations, clear and direct language. Resembling a quick reference book it provides novice and expert riders with very useful advices on how to improve weight distribution on saddle through correct body positioning during walk, trot and canter.

I bought this along with The Rider's Aids. I just love this series of short 24 page books and plan on getting more - especially no 42 Better Riding Through Exercise.

The diagrams in this one are absolutely brilliant - transparent rider's bodies showing the vertebrae, pelvis, leg and feet bones etc. Plus the transparent body of the horse and its spine. Like The Rider's Aids, this book also has masses of illustrations showing the right and wrong positions of every part of the rider's body. Again another really useful book to dip into every now and then to remind yourself or as it advises "check your own position frequently".

Definitely recommended.

A good, practical book that is great for dipping in and out of when you have a few spare minutes. If you have specific concerns then you can easily find a section that addresses them and gives good, sound advice about tackling them..

A no nonsense, pictorial guide to getting less worse - in my case!
