About the Author
Will Schmied, BSET, MCSE, CWNA, TICSA, MCSA, Security+, Network+, A+, is the president of Area 51 Partners, Inc., a provider of wired and wireless networking implementation, security, and training services to businesses in the Hampton Roads, Virginia, area. Will holds a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University along with his various IT industry certifications. Orin Thomas, BSc(Hons), MCSE, CCNA, CCDA, Linux+, is a writer, editor, and systems administrator who works for the certification advice Web site Certtutor.net. His work in IT has been varied: He's done everything from providing first-level networking support at a university to acting in the role of systems administrator for one of Australia's largest companies. He holds a bachelor's degree in Science with honors from the University of Melbourne and is currently working toward the completion of a Ph.D. in Philosophy of Science.
