When I first opened up my purchase, my girl said to me in her uncompromising tone: "you bought a wok, we have a wok!?!"
No no no, i explained; not with words but with dishes! A Vietnamese Stir Fry and North Indian 'Curry' - a big hit: The Karahi was an acceptable purchase - WHOOP!
This is a superior product for such a reasonable price, it looks fantastic as a centrepiece once the cooking is completed also.
Tipping the Karahi on it's side allows for really direct heat contact and the reduction of sauces is veritably instant.
I love cooking with my Karahi and it has replaced my wok most definitely! the only issue being it's relatively small capacity; you can only cook for 4. But that shouldn't be a problem for most.
The Serving stand and spoon are fantastic also and the spoon has been hijacked for numerous other dishes since it's addition to the kitchen.

Greaty value: A must buy!
