About the Author
Mark Robson was born in Essex in 1966 and raised, for the most part, in Camarthen, West Wales. In 1982 he gained a scholarship to join the Royal Air Force as a pilot and has worked for them ever since. He successfully self-published the four book series, The Darkweaver Legacy, the first book of which was largely written during tours of duty in the Falkland Islands. He now lives in Northamptonshire with his family.

Imperial Assassin is part of a trilogy written by Mark Robson. It continues the story of Femke and Reynik who were inrtoduced in the first part (Imperial Spy) The story should satisfy fans of many genres including; fantasy, spy/thriller, alternative worlds...It has a strong Female lead character so should be a good read for both male and female readers - fans of Tamora Pierce would enjoy these books (see SHEROES web site). I was fortunate enough to meet the author at a book signing event and he was generous enough to spend a good amount of time talking to me. A very enjoyable read throughout - I'm looking forward to reading the final part of the trilogy - Imperial Traitor.

This book is absolutely brilliant!!!! I read it in about five days as I was so hooked. This really is a un-put-down-able book! I enjoyed the first book greatly and had to get the new one. This is a book well worth buying, as it is one you would want to read again and again! I cannot wait for the next book the "Imperial Traitor" which is going to be even better! These books are a fantastic series and I will be reading his other series shortly! I am able to say that Mark Robson is one of my favourite authors! His style of writing and language is very good and enjoyable to read. I really loved this book. If you fancy adventure and magic then this is a great book to read. You can almost feel as if you are right in the action and can sense everything the character can. Not everyone can right like this and it is quite difficult. Well done Mark! I really loved this book.

although i felt a little confused at first, having not read the previous book, i soon got into the story and was inspired by the mysterious characters, and the fact that there are no black and white good guys and bad guys.
