The basic Imperia machine is solid built, cast metal that clamps to the work surface and the various attachments are very simple to use; just slide on and they clip into place. Also very easy to clean after use!
Ours came (as a gift) complete with a duplex (2 widths of flat noodles) linguini cutter but different pasta shapes always taste different! Make up the pasta dough (egg; flour - dead easy - quicker than popping out to Tesco, only tricky bit is mastering the art of getting the right consistency; not too wet, not too dry ) let it rest a while, roll out the basic pasta sheets to the correct thickness, clip on the round spaghetti attachment, keep turning the handle like an old-fashioned mangle - The kids will love this bit - and you could be in Italy. Unless you're already in Italy!
Service/delivery was also first class; it came within a few days of ordering; well packed.
