Really good seeing so many of Dr Who's stalwarts working together (again in some cases) in albeit new roles. A very youthful Mark Gatiss provides the story and appears in a larger role than Hitchcock usually reserved for himself. I don't think many Whovians (particularly of the older type) or lovers of british science fiction will be dissapointed with this production.

Caroline John stars as ex Doctor Who girl Liz Shaw in a horror/sci-fi thriller which unites several former Doctors and companions, all of them apart from Caro playing totally new roles. It performed well enough that it launched a trilogy of sequels (the P.R.O.B.E series) which it has now been retroactively added to. Worth buying for the brilliant twist at the end alone.

The first ever continuing Doctor Who spin-off, Caroline John is the only actor reprising her role as Liz Shaw, all the other Doctor Who actors are playing new characters, it's confusing at times but who cares, look at all the doctor who actors on screen together!
