Contains a large number of clear to read images to learn all the cross sectional anatomy you'll need to know. Recommended by nearly all the registrars who've come through FRCR training. Definately one to have in your library.

Fantastic book, comprehensive. The best radiological anatomy atlas out there. I can't see alot of difference between this and the previous edition though. This is pretty much the 'standard text' for the FRCR exam. Although the RCR like to put random stuff like sag. MRI of early pregnancy, just to mix things up. Really helps especially with cross sectional. Some of the images are a little blurred.

I wanted to give this book chance based on my need for cross-sectional images for an antomy exam. I'm currently in my first year of a radiography degree and thought this would be useful. It was exceptionally useful for me especially for normal chest x-ray appearance and cross-sectional anatomy of the abdomen.

I would say that it's very detailed - the images are labelled and some of the labels are a little too advanced for a first year to be aware of just yet. Having said that I'm sure that will come in handy for the remainder of my training so I wouldn't consider this a negative.

This is a worthwhile book and the images are really beautiful and glossy. A really nice addition to any student or current radiographers collection - especially useful for revision.
