I love imaginext and was shocked when I started comparing the prices on amazaon.com and amazon.co.uk close to xmas
I found this toy was the only one cheaper on amazon.co.uk and imagined that a naval plane launcher would be of more interest to an american child but my 5 year old loved it and age 2 - 9 have played (both male and female) with it in the house
Its the usually fisher price unbreakable toy that I could keep for my grandchildren
It stimulates imagagination - it fits in with all the other imaginext toys we have and so would recomend it for any child who likes planes and boats especially if the price is fair

I bought this for my 5 1/2-year-old grandson. He really enjoys playing with this. It is much larger than I expected it to be but it is a nice size. Not realizing that two small planes came with it, I also ordered two planes that are much larger. My grandson has so much fun playing with them that I ordered a third larger plane, and now I am preparing to order yet another larger plane to go along with the other three.

I was skeptical when my mother bought my son this toy but he has had it for a couple of months and loves it. There's so many different activities associated with it. Definitely recommend buying a couple of extra planes to land on it. The only annoying part is that the disks fly all over the place but that's part of the fun. Very durable, anticipate it will last for years. Another great Imaginext toy!

First of all I LOVE the Imaginex products (we have the bat cave, boat and construction vehicles.) I really think they are one of the most durable products for kids on the market today. I bought this for my son's 5th birthday and was a little nervous it would be too 'young' for him since he is really starting to get into smaller figures (lego, playmobile etc...) but WOW .... he loves it. It is his favorite gift and he plays with it every day.
It is HUGE and there are so many compartments and things for the 'guys' to do: Fly the planes, stand on the look out tower, go under to get ready to fight! It really encourages my son's imaination and creativity. It comes with 2 guys and 2 small planes that are good - but very simple. I bought one of the larger planes and that is a lot of fun and my son is able to have battles and fly them together. As some of the other reviewers suggested a big plane is a nice addition but not completely necessary.
The disks drive me nuts since they are flying all over the house but that is one of the best parts acording to my son:) My youngest son is 18 months and he plays with it too - puts the guys in the planes and flys them around the house etc. It is so sturdy that I know it will be around for him to use as well.
I see both boys playing with this for a number of years - definaely worth the $$ for the size and detail - actually surprised it does not sell for much more!
