I bought this book for my bright 8½ year old daughter so she could read up and decide which rides she would really like to go on when we go to Disneyland CA and I was a bit dissapointed. From an Adults perspective this book is really interesting and gives you lots of infomration about how the rides came to be and who was responsible for getting them there. It gives lots of detail about Walt Disney's vision and some things to look for in the park. I dont want to put the book down but want to let any parent know that I think the 9 to 11 bracket that they are recommending this for is slightly young. I am 37 and I found it quite a heavy travel book, and I do read a lot.

Pretty good, yet wishing for more....

A good little book,yet it just skimmed the surface of the gems at the park. Although meant to be a simple primer, it seemed to light on the details, although it does contain some gems! Still a fun series!

I was so excited to get this book, as I'm hoping to become an Imagineer when I graduate high school and college. When I got this book I read it and I was disappointed in one sense but definitely happy about it too. I was disappointed that it really isn't the engineering facts but it tells some great stories and interesting facts.
