Product Description

To determine if someone is a puzzle-solving fanatic, you must ask yourself these questions: Do they sit for hours - even days - absorbed in a puzzle, perhaps refusing food and drinks? Have they solved nearly every puzzle available? If you have answered 'yes' to the above questions, then they are, indeed, a serious puzzling maniac. Unfortunately, there is no cure for this. Their only hope is the Mini Tetris Cube. It is has over 9,000 solutions - and is extremely addictive. When given to the puzzle obsessed it will, at first, engross them. But then, when they discover that it is not as easy to solve as it looks, they may lose their appetite for puzzling - muttering something like, 'I think it's high time for a new hobby'. At this point they will place the unsolved Mini Tetris Cube aside and may join the local knitting group.

This really challenged me. I am really into puzzles like this, and got given this by my wife. Thought it would be easy, but was hard -- i did it in the end though...

Since I started trying to solve this cube, I can not put it down! There are over 9,000 solutions apparently but just finding one seems impossible. Totally genius game that will keep you entertained for months.

Impossible to solve? 26 May 2011

I have bought this toy a while ago and still have not solved it. Apparently there are a lot of ways to solve this, yet I still have to find one way. Every now and then I get really frustrated, but I cannot stop myself from trying to solve this again. As for kids using this as a toy: I can see how it's entertaining for a while, but kids can also get terribly discouraged. My son, then 9 years old, has tried to solve this for about an hour, and never touched it again after that.

Outstanding..............but not for little kids. 27 Dec 2007

I just bought this for my wife for Christmas. At least ten of us have worked on this for a total of about 25 hours and we have yet to solve it. I'm now reading that the average person spends about 2 months before finally solving the puzzle.

I do believe with enough work (chewing), a child could make one of the plastic pieces come apart, and pose a choking hazard for smaller kids.

As far as for 5 years old or above, GIVE THIS TO YOUR CHILD!!!!!! This "toy" teaches to think spatially in a hands-on setting and I'm sure would be great for brain development.

And if you've ever found yourself punching the buttons on a Nintendo enjoying Tetris, you'll love this!
