Product Description

Product Description

Well, you've probably never seen a yak in a yashmak, a canary gone hairy or a catapillow either. Roger McGough's highly inventive "Imaginary Menagerie" is the perfect place to find these and lots more amazing creatures, from a brushbaby living under the stairs to a nightingale spending a night in jail. You'll never again come across a collection like it!

5.0 out of 5 stars The most fanastic poetry in the world!, 9 Oct 2003
By A Customer
There is not enough space to begin to tell you how fantastic this collection of poetry is. If you are looking to get your child into poetry, then this really is the best collection you can start with. I have used this with pre-school children who adore the humour and have really be inspired by the little ditties. Here is a little taster for you. Buy this book and let your children and yourself be inspired.
'To amuse emu's on warm summer nights,
Kiwi's do wee-wee's from spectacular heights!'

Totally brilliant!!
