Such a great book- full of inspiring ideas of how to have fun with your kids. New games, old games, games you vaguely remember from your own distant childhood and brilliant activites. Illustrations are lovely. With luck, you'll never hear the words "I'm bored!" again!

This is an absolutely fantastic book and I would recommend it to any parent or anyone that ever has to spend time with children! The book is very well written, and you quickly get into the spirit of things as the book reminds you of your own childhood and provides ideas for all sorts of imaginative games. For most of the games and activities described you won't need any equipement or materials. Things from around the house spark ideas for games, or materials you might find walking through the woods or along a beach, suddendly hold new meanings as objects of fun! You will never have an akward silence again when kids ask, "what game shall we play?"

This book is written in a user friendly way, with pictures so you can even let young children look thorugh the book and help decide what they want to play. There are games which neither my collegues or I have ever heard of befor! There are categories such as in the car, on the beach and in the home, giving brilliant games for all situations. I will definatly be buying the sequal for more hours of fun!

Great for the holidays!
There are some great ideas in this book that will keep the kids entertained throughout the summer holidays. Be careful with some of the more adventurous games, though! Read more
