5.0 out of 5 stars You don't have to be a believer…, 15 Aug 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: I'm a Believer (Paperback)
… to enjoy this. I definitely count myself as a sceptic and don't usually like anything the least bit fey - but this really is an excellent read. It's very funny and I really found it hard to put down even though I was supposed to be working. The main character, Mark, is also a sceptic, so I found it easy to identify with him. He's funny and flawed (in a lovable way) and extremely credible. Don't be put off if you're not a floaty person, this will have you hooked whatever your beliefs.

4.0 out of 5 stars A surprisingly funny book, considering it deals with death., 20 July 2005
This review is from: I'm a Believer (Paperback)
Mark Buckle isn't a spiritual kind of guy. But his girlfriend, who has recently been killed in an accident, appears to be trying to make contact ... or is he just falling apart at the seams?

This book is about destiny, forgiveness and the 'natural order' of things. It's a sweet, optimistic, generous and upbeat book, and even if it doesn't make a believer of you, but it will probably make you wish you could believe.

I cant really say anything more - you have to buy this book because it is so good I wouldnt lend you mine! Warm, sad, funny, provocative - a story that will challenge what you think or confirm what you already thought - you will read and reread this and laugh and cry every time!
