For those of you who appreciate modern, funky graphic art, or are interested in it professionally, this book offers a fantastic compilation of some of the best and weird (in a wonderful way) ideas. The techniques used range from contemporary, to comedy elements, to use of photo shop. Some may appreciate the artists who have refrained from use of photo shop, however, I was myself surprised at some artist's abilities to use graphic design to produce genuine and unique works of art (I am not usually an avid fan of computer aided art design). With artists from all over the world contributing works to this publication, one can feel as though they are browsing through some of the finest modern art exhibitions, from the comfort of ones local cafe... I saw this in a local shop and wanted it straight away, though I held out for Amazon, where I got it at half the cost. I am very selective about what book gets a space on my bookshelf, and this has earned a long term spot, though it's quite frequently accompanying me elsewhere :)
