Good reference, but not for the prospective buyer.,

Excellent read, however small amounts of factual info and a not specific enough section on buying, make other books such as "Original Ferrari V-8" (contains V-8 cars only, obviously) a better choice.

The classic quick reference book on Ferrari models,

A classic book by the well-regarded late Ferrari author Dean Batchelor. Although titled as a "buyer's guide" this is a great reference book on higher production models. Each model is covered with a general overview, several photos showing the different varieties, detailed specifications, chassis number ranges, and an investment rating based on Dean's five star system.

interesting and factual,

a well written complete description of nearly all models produced by Ferrari. The text is factual with period photographs and a good description of each model's pros and cons.
