Have been looking forward to this album for a long time, and it has been worth the wait. I have heard the album three or four times now, through promo, and its certainly a strong debut. Luckily I have seen the band numerous times live and you get a feeling that they are just getting stronger. Hopefully these guys will be on the summer tours.

I got into this band back in 2002 when they released a smattering of singles. Then, they vanished! I didn't know this album got released at all but, it's a treat. Dunno if it would have been the wait if I was anticipating it but, it's a fine folky/byrdsy jangly album that brings swelling to the heart in places. Shame they ain't still going and shame they didn't put their Dylanesque singles on the album too

Melodic twangcore from the UK 2 Jun 2007
By DJ Joe Sixpack - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
This is a nice set of raggedy, twang-laced melodic indie-rock, from an exuberant Irish foursome. The band is clearly rooted in modern rock, but they incorporate country elements well, and sound like they have a lot of fun playing their songs... Definitely worth checking out, since their energy and enthusiasm carry through to the listeners... Fun stuff!
