An album showcasing one of the finest voices in musical theatre, singing some of the greatest songs from respected composers and breakthrough British writers. Featuring songs from the musicals Wicked, Tell Me On A Sunday and Chess. This limited edition CD also features the Don Black song How 'Bout A Dance from the new musical Bonnie and Clyde. When Guy James and I discussed my involvement in producing Shona's album, I was keen to highlight Shona's stunning, personal voice as well as bring to the fore her rockier, more playful side. It was important to me that this was reflected in the musical arrangements. The result, I hope, is a recording that bristles with fun and at times deep emotion that will appeal to every kind of person and music lover. RICHARD BEADLE, Producer.
About the Artist
Shona is an experienced musical theatre performer having appeared in Chess, Wicked, Mamma Mia, Shout, Les Miserables and The Rocky Horror Show to name a few. She is also no stranger to the cabaret and concert circuit having performed in venues including Pizza On The Park, The Pheasantry, Queen Elizabeth Hall and The Royal Albert Hall.
