The DS's Tetris 2 Mar 2007
Fun:
I love puzzle games. I own Tetris and Mr Driller for the DS and I think they're great, but I bought Zoo Keeper for half the price of either of these and it blows the competition away. For one thing you can actually play ZK with the stylus. Tetris and Mr. Driller play like slightly upgraded versions of their GBA versions. Good but hardly original. Zoo Keeper, on the other hand, is based on the 'Bejewelled' PC game which is designed to be played with the mouse, a puzzle game begging for the DS treatment.

More addictive than Polarium and Meteos combined, simpler to learn than Tetris, cuter graphics than Mr. Driller. In short, it's a brilliant game. There aren't too many playing options but the main modes are so awesome that that's not a problem. I've played the two-player version with my girlfriend (it's a one-cart 2 player mode, by the way) and it's lots of fun too.

In short, if you want DS's version of Tetris, *don't* buy Tetris DS, save yourself some money and buy this little gem.

Fun:
At first this game seemed boring and I persumed I'd never get attatched, but after a good few long tries at it I can't stop going on it! The great thing about this game is the ease of playing. Power on/Menu/Play and you're into it, no unecessary dialogue and very easy to pick up. I think what put me off at first was the thought of repetitiveness and this certainly showed initially, but you realise after a while that it is a very simple but clever game that deserves to get deeply involved in. Once you progress things change within the game so any thought of repetitiveness is soon lost.

Overall a great game for on the go, but if you prefer something with a little more depth and thought then look elsewhere.

I recieved this game free in a bundle with my DS and I thought it was going to be fairly poor. I'm pleased to say that I was very wrong!
I also had Super Mario for the DS, but have played Zoo Keeper far more. I have what can only be described as an obsession with trying to beat all of my high scores! The best modes are Time Attack and Tokoton.
I also like the fact that you don't have to use the touch screen, you can also use the D-pad and other buttons. The only downside to this type of play is that it takes longer for you to move between animal combinations.
All in all, an excellent game and one that is definitely suitable for all ages.

zoo keeper
Quite a good game but does get a bit repetitive eventually. Great for whiling away the time, especially if in waiting room! Recommend for any ages.

really addictive
Perfect for people who love puzzle games such as tetris, this game is bejewelled with cute animals, hence better! It could have been better in its presentation and polish. Read more

Zoo Keeper.......
is a simple, yet addictive game. It's a bit like tetris and you have to match the animals up as they fall. The graphics aren't particularly good, however that doesn't matter. Read more
