Product Description

Iglu Gel Mouth Ulcer Treatment for fast, effective relief of pain from common mouth ulcers, sore gums and denture rubbing. Unique Triple Action relieves pain and fights infection forming a long-lasting protective coating. The gel is specially formulated to form a pain-relieving, antiseptic and long-lasting protective coating for the fast, effective treatment of common mouth ulcers, soreness of the gums and denture rubbing. Do not use the gel if you are sensitive to any of its ingredients listed. Although there are no specific restrictions to using the gel during pregnancy or breast-feeding, the potential risks are unknown and caution should therefore be exercised. Keep the gel away from the eyes. In case of accidental contact, wash eye immediately with water; continue rinsing for 10 to 15 minutes, holding the eyelids well apart and avoid getting the rinse liquid into the other eye. Consult a doctor if irritation persists. Overdose is unlikely to be a problem because of the low formulated. Inappropriate large doses may make swallowing difficult due to the loss of feeling. This may increase the risk of food or drink going down the wrong way. Generalised numbness of the mouth may also lead to biting the inside of your mouth when eating. Excessive overdose may also lead to generalised side-effects such as nervousness, drowsiness, breathing problems or low blood pressure. In such cases, seek urgent medical attention. If your mouth ulcer symptoms persist, seek medical advice. Like all medicines, the gel may have side effects. Hypersensitivity reactions to lidocaine hydrochloride and aminoacridine hydrochloride occur rarely. If you become wheezy or short of breath after using the gel, discontinue use and contact your doctor or a pharmacist immediately. If you are concerned about any other side effects, seek medical advice. This product should not be used after the expiry dated stated on the packet Always replace the cap tightly after use.

Not sure if the product was expired or just bad, the 'gel' is more like a dry waxy substance like lip balm but thicker, that makes it impossible to stick to the ulcer- i tried with my finger, with a cotton bud, nothing worked. when a lil bit of it stuck, nothing happened, no stinging, just washed away after a few minutes.
Would def. never buy again

This is a great product. I always suffers from mouth ulcer and I usually buy a similar product from boots. for me, this is the best mouth ulcer treatment on the market (not hurt when apply, no funny tast, stays and cove, no time limited per day, speed up the recover), far more better than Bonjela, Orajel etc.

For other reviews I have read that many people finding difficult to place it!! please check the introduction, you should dry the are you applying before you placing the gel! If people who can place the 'BONJELA ONCE mouth ulcer treatment' in their mouth (OMG that was painful), it is not difficult to dry the part of you mouth with what ever you use, am I right?
For people who could not get the gel off their fingers, we all know that the gel are really good to stay with a 'DRY' place, so... and my advice is do not use finger to apply it (you can use it direct from the gel tube to you mouth ulcer if you want, and it is quit easy).

I know everyone who suffers from regular mouth ulcer are always trying to find the right product until it works, so why not give this a try?

Very difficult substance to apply. Quite hard to squeeze out of the tube, and it was almost impossible to apply it to the ulcer as I couldn't get it off my finger. When I did actually manage to apply some of it onto the ulcer it just slid away into a congealed lump away from the ulcer - totally useless. Don't think using a cotton bud as instructed would make much difference either. Don't waste your money!
