Fu Manchew your face off

We live in the age of the reissue-the business of making the old "new" again. Neglected, forgotten, or "never known in the first place for a reason" recordings of the past get dusted off, repackaged, and are given a new lease on life. It doesn't hurt if your product contains a member of a current band with status, or that a label with an impressive track record wishes to release said product. It also helps if your old stuff is pretty damn good.
Basically, Southern Lord has decided to put out a bunch of studio and live stuff together by this 80's California hardcore band which featured Scott Hill of the mighty Fu Manchu on guitar...the booklet contains all the standard fare, flyers from shows, photos, and fun recollections by all involved (including Ruben "I played drums in Fu and Nebula) Romano.
I tend to only write reviews for things I listen to more than once in a short period of time, so here ya go. Check it out, it'll fit right in with your Black Flag, VOID, Circle Jerks and all of that, and it goes good with beer and anger. Right on, bro.
