This is the first Nicola Doherty book I have read and I certainly wasn't disappointed.
If you could go back in time what part of your life would you choose and what would you do differently?
The story is about Zoe who finds herself going to bed after a Christmas night out and wakes up in July, six months previous. Will anyone believe her crazy story! She has a second chance to redo the last six months!
I absolutely loved this book, my children's dinner was late on both the two days it took me to read!
Fun, fabulous and hilarious, with a mix of wonderful characters, I actually found myself falling for max the flat mate! ☺ Fantastic character development, I cared for all of them and I really couldn't put it down!
If your a Sophie Kinsella fan, this is a book for you.

I really enjoyed this one. I love anything to do with time travel so it's no surprise to me that I liked it but I really did enjoy the way that plot point was used here. The whole thing was great fun - I loved seeing Zoe get her herself deeper and deeper into a hole a work with her 'predictions' and although the love story didn't quite play out in the way I was expecting when I first picked up the book I did predict what was going to happen within a couple of chapters, So, despite being a bit on the predictable side (or maybe because of it?) I enjoyed watching it all unfold - and I loved watching Zoe work out that maybe she didn't want what she thought she wanted after all.

I'm really looking forward to reading the author's previous novel - on the basis of this one I'm sure I'll love it.

Imagine waking up one day and you have gone back six months in time, great we get the chance to do it all again - now do we do it differently this time round knowing the outcome of our actions last time round. This is what happens to Zoe in this story, she had made her boyfriend chose between her and his job, would she do the same this time round. This book is so well written, funny and I could not put it down. I loved it and would highly recommend it.

This is the first I've read by this author but it won't be the last, now that I've found her. I love chick lit reads like these where the main character gets to have a 'do over/wish fulfillment' type thing. It's a cute story and has all the usual elements that you'd expect if you're a fan of this genre.

It's Christmas time and Zoe has recently split up with her boyfriend David. She's pining and stuck in a rut job-wise but as luck would have it she makes a wish to have David back and wakes up the next morning to find herself 6 months in the past and still with David. Not quite sure what she saw in David or why she'd want to keep him but whatever... she gets the chance to not make the same mistakes the second time around and obviously things don't always turn out the way Zoe wants or expects them to.

There's the supportive friend, the enemy female, the new love interest, the missed chances - all the usual fare in chick lit but I just lap it up.

It's a tad predictable but I still enjoyed it very much. That's half the fun for me with Chick lit, that it's familiar and comforting.

Great story and it's well told. I'd recommend if you're a fan of the genre.

I've never read a book by the author before but I was really intrigued by this one. I love the cover and think it sells the book well,. It would definitely make me pick it up in a shop.

The story follows Zoe who wishes she could turn back time and change the course of events with her ex boyfriend. When she wakes up the next day, her wish has come true but is it going to give her the life she wants?

The writing style drew me in straight away and I found myself racing through, wanting to know what was going to happen. I think Zoe might be one of my favourite female characters ever and I was really rooting for her. She was so likeable and, to be honest, I couldn't see what she saw in David. He never defended her even over his crazy friend!

I loved the ending and thought it was really fitting. It's not quite what you want as the reader but I'm glad Nicola hasn't made it too predictable.

I loved this book and it would easily make my top 5 reads this year - I think I will be thinking about the characters for a long time to come. I highly recommend it and I can't wait to read more of the authors work.

Zoe Kennedy's life isn't going to plan. Her change of career hasn't worked out as well as she'd hoped and she threw away her chance of happiness with the wonderful David Fitzgerald by being needy and jealous of the bond he had with his best female friend, Jenny. But when Zoe makes a wish to be with David again, she finds herself travelling back six months in time, to when her relationship with David was still in tact. Zoe has the chance to do things differently this time so that she and David can live happily ever after.

I've been itching to read If I Could Turn Back Time as I love books (and films) with a sprinkling of magic and I wasn't disappointed. If I Could Turn Back Time is such a fun read and perfect for curling up and immersing yourself in a world where wishes can come true. Zoe felt her life took a turn for the worse when she broke up with David, a handsome and charismatic heart surgeon. By going back in time, she can pinpoint the moments that went wrong in their relationship and play them differently this time, and I loved seeing how the scenes changed with Zoe's new insight.

This is the first book I've read by Nicola Doherty but I loved the writing style, which is light and fun and drew me in immediately, so I'd definitely like to read more. There's a great cast of characters, from Zoe and her friends, to David and the villainous Jenny and Zoe's new flatmate. I think there was a little bit too much emphasis on clothing at times, but as Zoe works in fashion, it is something she would pick up on more, so I could understand why. Overall, I thought the book was a fantastic read. It is light and humorous and I would definitely recommend to any fans of chick lit/romantic comedies.
