About the Author
Kenji Takahashi is the president and CEO of NTT Multimedia Communications Laboratories, Inc. in San Mateo, California. He received his Ph.D. in computer science from Tokyo Institute of Technology. Elisa Bertino is a professor and research director at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. She holds a Ph.D. in computer science and is a Fellow of the IEEE Computer Society and the Association for Computing Machinery.

But would like to start with the original reviewer:
Midwest Book Review (Oregon, WI USA).
Currently at almost 60K all-positive reviews on every imaginable subject.
While a pre-paid and, hence, dishonest review, it allows your publication
to top Avg. Customer Review list.
Hopefully, not for long, since other reviews are coming, if readers care.
Wonder when their contract with Amazon expires not to be ever
renewed?

Now the book. While only on p. 50 (a quarter past), few of the
pages read so far don't have underlined statements, which are
to indicate either
- inaccuracies/outdated info;
or
- definitions, that do not agree with other sources (glossary'd be nice);
or
- unclear wording (regrettably way 2 many).
Still intend to finish the book, which might change the rating.
At the moment experiencing problem justifying this 80$ expense.

Update: failed to move past Reverse Proxy SSO (p. 61), waste of time.
OpenID, SAML and InfoCard comparison is better be tabular: shorter
and consumable.
