5.0 out of 5 stars great to either study or dip in and out of, 15 Jun 2004
This review is from: Identify: Building Brand Through Letterheads, Logos and Business Cards (Graphic Design) (Hardcover)
The focus of this book is mainly on business stationary - the application of a logo/identiy over business cards, letterheads etc, even livery in one case.

the book is full of examples and colour pictures as you would expect from a rotovision book. the layout works out at one business/identity to a double page spread mainly, while some case studies are given a series of pages such as the branding for the glasgow school of art. other examples include the stationary for design agency 'airside' who designed the lemonjelly album covers. other examples are found from the UK and worldwide and all of a high standard ranging from small to large businesses, all with creative ideas for an identity.

the written content is also very good, this could have been expanded on a little but then the pictures do most of the job anyway. you are basicly given the brief for each project and then a small write up on the solution to the brief. the depth of the written content varies from case study to case study - all very informative. the book itself is of very good quality, a good paper stock, and well laid out. i can't find fault with this book, top marks!
