The Safety Grip Handles (I bought two) are nicely made, colourful and easy to use. They can be fitted in seconds.
They come in a pack of two although they are priced individually.
The principle on which they work is simple and all that is needed is to lift the coloured levers at each end of the device.
This is moderately strong so maybe someone with weak fingers might not be able to do this themselves.
I use them on the tiled wall against the bath and shower and the 'grip' created by the vacuum cups is quite powerful. They have been in position now for four weeks and still take my weight.
However the tiled surface must be clean or the cups will lose their vacuum and the surface must not be wet or the device will slide. The cups must be on a full tile or the joint between tiles will not allow the vacuum to be created.
So my handles are at an angle (which is what I wanted anyhow) and they span two tiles.
My first attempt at fixing achieved a grip with only one of the two cups of the handle because I put it over a joint and this could be hazardous if the device is not tested before putting full weight on it.
I am very pleased with my purchase which I think I got at the best price but I would suggest that putting one's whole weight on one handle should not be encouraged because a change in humidity or temperature might just cause the grip to fail over time.
However for maintaining balance in the shower I think this product is ideal

This is the second of these handgrips I have bought. They are well made and very easy to fit. The tiled surface must of course be smooth to ensure that a good seal is maintained by the sucker. Also I ensured that the surface was very clean before fixing. I am not sure whether the grip could support the full body weight but they are strong and give stability and safety whilst in the shower. Having cleaned the tiles and dried them I wet the surface of the suckers before fixing. The blue levers make removal very easy.

I bought this for a friend as they have recently developed knee problem
which was making using the bath a problem. Since fitting they have nothing but praise for this. They can now use the bath without any problems and would recommend this product to anyone.
