I bought this item to replace a cheap USB3 enclosure that I had had previously, and was amazed by the quality of this case.
The enclosure came with a power supply (cable approx. 1.5-2m, decent-sized plug, no transformer block necessary), a USB3 cable (Male-A to Male-B, approx. 1m length), and the clear plastic stand which, I admit, I never used. If you place the hard drive vertically, as I do, there are eight foam disks included that stick onto the corner screws and stop vibrations from making noise on the table. Furthermore, the package contains four black screws that fix your hard drive to the underside of the case (the side not visible in any of the pictures).
The mesh design means it not only looks good, but is also very stylish. The huge screws on the corners are not decorations; the thumb screws come off to allow you to take the case apart (to install your hard drive). I unplugged the blue LED as it was slightly distracting at night.
As it has no fans and uses the huge metal plates to conduct away heat, the case itself is silent -- all the noise I hear is from the hard drive itself. The hard drive powers down when not in use, meaning that when I access it intermittently, I have to wait for it to spin up again. I am not sure that this isn't a result of my personal setup, and it is never too long a wait (approx. 5 seconds).
Speedwise, the USB 3.0 makes all the difference. A 1.8GB file was just copied in 25 seconds - that's 73 megabytes (not bits) per second, a very good speed (especially compared to USB 2.0).
Overall, I love this case, and would certainly recommend it to anyone.
